Yes, Light Bringer Project needs your support!

Our work depends on the support of community members like you! With your help, we serve over 1,700 underserved students through our arts and learning opportunities. We do this at the highest standard possible, delivering innovative arts practice, communication arts, and literary arts study in ten public schools across Pasadena and Los Angeles County.

Each of our programs engages students with creative professionals and strengthens the well-desired 21st century skills of communication, creativity, critical thinking and collaboration. Our students leave our programs with a greater understanding of the demands of the real-world and develop a greater expectation of themselves.

Every dollar you donate is invested into the following state-of-the-art programs:

  • Room 13 is an open creative studio where Pasadena- and Ontario-area students develop their own projects led by a community Artist-in-Residence; This youth arts initiative is part of a network of over 80 studios around the globe.

  • Locavore Lit brings the literary work of Los Angeles-based writers into the classroom and provides teachers with writing curriculum at Los Angele-area public schools.

  • College & Career Pathways provides real-world experience to high school students whose graphic design and marketing projects are mentored by leading professionals at cutting-edge creative companies. Student team projects are designed to enhance outreach efforts of nonprofits in their communities.

  • Expressing Feelings Through Art strengthens the creative voice of the individual through visual and written expression. Outstanding student participants throughout L.A. County are recognized at a public exhibition that takes place every year at Art Center College of Design.

Please help us sustain this important work. Your donation is fully tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. Thank you for supporting Light Bringer Project and the deserving students who rely on these opportunities.

Light Bringer Project is a spectacular business partner for the Foshay Tech Academy, mentoring students as they prepare semester long projects in marketing. The organization provides intensive workshops on communication arts and directly connects our youth to major creative companies.

What a super Art Season this year! We were so lucky to be a part of three Light Bringer events (trifecta!).

The students and I had a wonderful time with Lit for Life, EFTA and Chalk Art. The kids made some beautiful artworks! Thanks so much for giving
them the inspiration. We know how hard you guys work for the students and we appreciate it a lot.

Thank you again and we look forward to being a part of Light Bringer next year!
