Rasheed Ali – Pasadena Mini Grantee: Of Digital Rain Factory in Altadena, Rasheed specializes in the art and craft of Digital Storytelling to create authentic New Media. “By using the power of Digital Storytelling to educate, inform and inspire, I can promote community and a call-to-action…What I learned about art forms and expression, I learned from the fertile minds of my elementary school students.”

Frank Romero – Throughout his 40 year career as an artist, Frank Romero has been a dedicated member of the Los Angeles arts community. As a member of the 1970s Chicano art collective, Los Four, he and fellow artists Carlos Almaraz, Beto de la Rocha and Gilbert Lujan, helped to define and promote the new awareness of La Raza through murals, publications and exhibitions. Los Four’s historic 1974 exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art was the country’s first show of Chicano art at a major art institution.

We wish to thank all the artists, first and foremost, the volunteers and sponsors and supporters who help us see it through! We also want to thank our host Paseo Colorado. We look forward to another great event in one year, on Father’s Day Weekend, June of 2016, as we approach the 25th Anniversary in 2017.
